Onboarding Specialist

The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for the success of new customer implementation (“onboarding”) activities. The Onboarding Specialist conducts consultative calls with customers pertaining to implementation activities and supports scheduling of tasks required to implement a customer within the Policy Management System (LMS) and the Policy Manager tool.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with internal sales and contracts personnel in the activities associated with a customer’s transition from contract signing through system set‐up, implementation, and training
- Schedule and monitor all new customer implementation activities; schedule and monitor current customer system implementation activities associated with LMS functionality and Policy Management functionality
- Provide new customer training as part of the onboarding process; provide training for customers who have contracted for expanded products and/or services
- Schedule and conduct new customer consultative calls
- Work with the Customer Success Manager, Account Management in all follow‐up consultative calls pertaining to import of customer information and development of any specialized customer-related themes and logos
- Work with the Customer Success Manager, Account Management to perform all quality assurance and testing for customer imports
- Monitor the overall process and service levels, and provide reports, pertaining to the status of the activation and the deactivation of customers within the LMS or Policy Management tool
- Assist other Customer Success Manager team members as needed including, but not limited to, providing Tier 1 Technical Support for external customers and training and demos, as required
- Perform post onboarding follow up calls on Policy Manager client adoption
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent years of education and related work experience
- 1‐3 years’ experience in related discipline(s): education/training, support, product management, process management, or information technology
- Strong project management skills; ability to handle multiple tasks/projects under tight deadlines
- Ability to understand customer needs and conduct consultative conversations
- Orientation toward identifying and implementing process improvements
- Strong analytical, oral and communication skills; strong customer service skills
- Strong computer skills, proficient in Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook
- Experience working with software and/or technology applications
- Experience working with projects that require tracking
The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $70,000. Compensation offered will be determined by skills, experience, education, job-related knowledge and market considerations. This role is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on business results and individual performance.
We are a hybrid organization, offering employees flexibility to work remotely while fostering in-person collaboration when needed. We are initially prioritizing candidates located in or near Philadelphia, PA; Chicago, IL; and St. Louis, MO to support team connectivity through periodic in-person meetings and collaboration sessions. If a strong match is not found within these regions, we will expand our search to include candidates in other locations.
